Plan changes focus on your future

17 April 2013

This new website is one of a range of changes being introduced to help make it easier for you to save for a successful retirement.

This site has been carefully designed to give you a ‘plain English’ guide to saving for your retirement and how the Experian plan will help. It will be kept up-to-date, so you can always have the latest information at your finger-tips.

Where possible we’re moving to electronic communications to make it quicker and cheaper for us keep in touch with each other.

And we’ve adopted a new name – the Experian Retirement Savings Plan – to make clear who we are and what we do.

But it’s not just about communication. The Plan trustees have completed a major review of how your savings can be invested, to ensure the right choices are available for Plan members.

New investment options have been introduced and the ‘lifestyle’ choices (where your money is automatically moved between funds as you get closer to retirement) have been refreshed.

We’ve introduced a ‘pensions calculator’ to make it easy to understand what saving now may mean for you in later life.

And when it’s time for retirement, we’ve got a new service to help you turn your savings into the best pension for your personal circumstances.

These changes affect all Plan members, regardless of whether you are currently employed by Experian or not. They’re also ready for Experian staff not currently in a workplace pension who are being ‘auto-enrolled’ into the Plan this summer.

Through this website, you can start saving with us for retirement – taking advantage of Experian’s contribution and tax breaks from the government. As well as online sign-up, initiatives like a new lower contribution rate will help you start to make provision for your future.

That’s the motivation for the Plan trustees and their advisors – supporting you to save for a long and happy retirement. We hope that these changes help you focus on your future.
