Thinking of leaving

If you’re thinking of leaving Experian then you should note that once you’ve left the company no further contributions can be paid into your account. The options available to you in respect of the savings you’ve built up will depend on how long you’ve been a member of the Plan.

If you’re considering leaving the Plan but are not leaving Experian then you should think carefully about the valuable company contributions you’ll be giving up. The options available to you in respect of the savings you’ve built up will again depend on how long you’ve been a member of the Plan.

The Experian Pensions Team at Capita can discuss your options with you but neither they, nor the Trustees or their advisers are able to give you any financial advice.

You may therefore want to speak to an independent financial adviser to discuss your individual circumstances before you leave the Plan. You can find an adviser in your local area by visiting www.unbiased.co.uk. Advisers may charge for their time so be sure to check with them first.
