Adding my other retirement savings

If you have been a member of the Plan for at least three months, you can, with the consent of the Trustees, transfer other retirement savings into the Plan. Your previous employer or personal pension provider will be able to give you the relevant details of the amount that can be transferred and any charges they’ll apply for arranging this.

Combining your retirement savings means:

  • you bring your savings together in to one place for easier management
  • more savings to invest in your chosen funds
  • better terms may be available, depending on your benefit selection on retirement
  • the possibility of fewer charges on your savings.

To begin this process please contact the Plan administrators, Capita, who will be able to guide you through the process or download, complete and return a ‘Transfer-in investigation form’. You should seek independent financial advice before deciding whether to transfer other retirement savings into the Plan.
